23rd Annual Farness Lecture

Keep it Secret, Keep It Safe: Cryptographic Tools for EMR Security, David Archer
The Annual Farness Lecture series is named for Orin J. Farness, MD, a Tucson physician, who—in 1938—was the first to report a positive culture for coccidioidomycosis (cocci or Valley fever), a fungal disease that primarily affects the lungs caused by inhaled spores found in the soil which are endemic to the U.S. Southwest. The lecture is coordinated through the UA Valley Fever Center for Excellence
